Brandon Mitchel Asay

Brandon was born on March 6th, 1983 in Evanston Wyoming to Mitch and Karen Asay. He was the first of two boys that Mitch and Karen would have together. Their 2nd child and Brandon's brother is Thomas Asay. Brandon was surrounded by loving family and friends as he grew up in the small town of Evanston. He learned at an early age that life was full of adventures and boy did he test that theory. Brandon loved the outdoors whether it was skiing, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, baseball, hockey and of course his passion for golf. In 1993 Brandon lost his Father Mitch to a devastating mining accident. It hurt him deeply but he knew then he would have to step up and be the man of the family. And only as Brandon could do he - did it very well. In 1995 Brandon's Mom met and fell in love with Mike Mutka. Mike and Karen had known each other in the early 80's when Mike lived in Evanston. They were brought back into each others lives in 1995. Shortly after that they decided to take their relationship to a higher level which meant that Brandon and Thomas were moving to California. Brandon was apprehensive about moving because he loved Wyoming and didn't know anything about California and for that matter Mike. When Brandon arrived in California he was introduced to his new family which included his future brothers Keith, Derek and Chris. The house was full of life as you might imagine. Sure we had some rough times but we had many, many more great times. Brandon immediately made friends through school, baseball, hockey and golf. He was part of the high school golf team. Brandon graduated from Woodcreek High School in 2001. He went to Sierra College in Rocklin, Ca. were he again played on the golf team. Brandon wasn't wired for the typical college scene because it wasn't outdoors. He needed to be doing something he was passionate about - GOLF. He enrolled in the San Diego Golf Academy in 2003 and graduated with an associates degree in business in 2005. Brandon worked at a couple of local golf courses for a while but decided that working for someone else didn't make sense. He wanted to be his own boss so he started SoCal Detailing & Supply. He started detailing cars, planes, boats and anything else that needed cleaning. On one particular day when he was in his driveway a gentlemen named Andy happened to be walking by and noticed his trailer. He asked Brandon if he had ever detailed a motorcycle. Brandon told him that he hadn't but he would be more than willing to give it a try. Andy was in need of a deatiler and so Brandon's relationship with BIGGS Harley Davidson had begun. Brandon fell in love with BIGGS and was always telling his parents what a great place it was to work at. They were all his San Diego family and he loved them all dearly. He also started taking his golf game to the next level and was golfing in local tournaments to turn pro. Peter Beames the golf legend had taken Brandon under his wings and said he was the real deal and has what it takes to win 4-5 majors. This left Brandon walking on clouds and now he is. We all feel so blessed to have been a part of Brandon's life. He was proceeded in death by his Father Mitch Asay, Grandfather's Thomas Asay and Wallace W. Hofer, Aunt Barbara A. Hofer Surviving family members Mother Karen L. Asay, Father Micheal J. Mutka, Brother's Keith Mutka and wife Jennifer, Derek Mutka and wife Nicole , Thomas S. Asay and wife Ashley & Christopher Mutka. Neices and nephews Madison Mutka, Ashley Mutka, Katie Mutka, Taylor Mutka, Jacob Mutka, Justin Mutka and Bobbie Rae Asay. Grandparents, John and Joyce Case, Delma Beckman Uncle's and Aunt's Bob and Cindi Kalerber, Marty and Robin Asay, Bill and Gina Asay, Kent and Sherry Rabenberg and Glenn and Shelly Hofer And many cousins that he became as close to like a brother and sister. The world of friends he has is so large and he was always willing to give you the shirt off his back. And last but not least - the love of his life His dog Pearl. Truly the love of his life!
